The Invisible Front by Yochi Dreazen

The call came just after midnight, waking Colonel Mark Graham and his wife, Carol, instantly.  Mark worked for the four-star American General charged with protecting South Korea from a sudden attach my its mercurial neighbor to the north, and his job required that he be notified of any emergency, regardless of the hour.  He reached for the phone expecting to hear on of his subordinates. Instead, Mark hear the muffled voice of his older sone, Jeff, an army lieutenant stationed in Kentucky who was getting ready to deploy back to the battlefields of Iraq.  "No, Jeff, no, "Mark said, shaking.  "Tell me something else."
